Step 1 — You book

Online via the booking picker on any service page (takes about 30 seconds), or by WhatsApp, or by phone 07908 986323. You pick the service, the size of your car, the time slot. You can pay online or on the day. Payment is held but not taken — we only charge after the job is done.

Confirmation message arrives within seconds. Calendar invite optional. If you're booking for someone else (gift, family member), tell us and we'll coordinate directly with them.

Step 2 — We confirm the day before

The day before your booking, you get a WhatsApp confirming the time, the detailer assigned to your job, and a quick reminder of any access details you provided (gate code, where to park, etc.). If anything's changed — your car's moved, you're going to be away, you need to reschedule — this is the easy moment to tell us.

Step 3 — 30 minutes before arrival

Your detailer sends a WhatsApp 30 minutes before they're due. "On my way, ETA 9:25am, here's the van" with a photo. If they're going to be late (traffic, previous job overrun), you know immediately — never a surprise.

Step 4 — Arrival

Van pulls up wherever you're parked. The detailer checks in with you — confirms the service booked, asks about any specific concerns (this spot won't come out, the boot has dog hair, that wheel has a stubborn mark). They do a walk-around with you if you're available, or photograph any pre-existing damage if you're not — so we're both protected.

You don't need to provide anything. No water, no power, no tools. The van is self-contained. You don't need to be present for the duration of the clean — many customers leave the keys and go to work, and we WhatsApp updates.

Step 5 — The clean itself

What happens depends on the service. Here's the standard order for a Wash & Protect (most-booked):

  1. Snow foam pre-soak — covers the car in foam to lift dirt off the paint before any touch contact
  2. Wheels and tyres — cleaned with non-acid wheel cleaner, brushed inside the spokes, tyres scrubbed
  3. Hand wash — two-bucket method (one rinse, one wash), fresh microfibre mitt, top-down to keep the dirtiest parts last
  4. Clay decontamination — pulls bonded contamination off the paint that washing alone can't remove
  5. Rinse and dry — pressure rinse, then hand-dried with microfibre to avoid water spots
  6. Sealant application — hydrophobic sealant hand-applied across all painted panels, left to bond, then buffed
  7. Glass and trim — windows inside and out, plastic and rubber dressed
  8. Interior vacuum — seats, mats, boot, crevices
  9. Dashboard and door cards — wiped, polished, dust-removed
  10. Final walk-around — detailer checks every panel under their own lighting before signing off

Step 6 — Handover

When the job's done, the detailer WhatsApps you (if you're away) or walks you around the car (if you're there). You confirm you're happy. Payment goes through if you didn't pre-pay. You drive away.

If you're not 100% happy in the moment, the detailer will go back over whatever needs more work — no charge, no argument. The standard is: you should be happier than you expected.

Step 7 — Aftercare

For services with sealant or ceramic protection, there's a 12-24 hour cure period where the car shouldn't get wet. We'll WhatsApp aftercare instructions tailored to your service. Don't worry about it — it's simple.

About a week later, you get one follow-up message asking if everything's still good. If something's off, this is when to tell us — within 48 hours we'll come back free of charge if there's an issue.

What if it rains?

Light rain — we work under cover where possible, or carry on. Pressure-washing in light rain doesn't change the outcome. Heavy rain — we WhatsApp and reschedule. Free of charge. Same-day re-bookings get priority.

What if I need to cancel?

Free up to 12 hours before. Less than 12 hours — there's a 50% charge to cover the held slot, but we're generally flexible if there's a real reason (emergency, illness). Just tell us straight.

What if I'm not happy with the result?

WhatsApp us within 48 hours. We'll come back free of charge and put it right. We don't argue about whether the work was good enough — if you're not satisfied, we re-do whatever needs re-doing. No refunds on completed work (we did the time, we used the products), but free re-work is the standard.

This policy has been used about 8 times in the last 4,500 jobs. Most often it's a specific stain that didn't fully lift first time, or a panel the customer thinks we missed under different lighting.

What if you damage my car?

£2m public liability insurance covers every job. In the rare event we damage something — minor scratches, cracked trim, anything caused by our work — we repair through insurance at no cost to you. Pre-existing damage we photographed on arrival is excluded from this.
